The crushed lithium battery mixture still contains volatile substances such as organic electrolyte and plastic residue. If not properly handled,
it will seriously affect the subsequent metal separation efficiency and bring safety and environmental risks. The pyrolysis furnace plays a vital role in this stage.
The equipment heats the battery mixture to 300~600°C under the protection of oxygen deficiency or inert gas, evaporates and decomposes
the electrolyte, and carbonizes organic matter such as plastic. The generated gas is recovered through the condensation system, and some can even be reused as
fuel.
In June this year, a metallurgical research institute from Pune, India, visited our pyrolysis treatment line. They were particularly concerned about the temperature
control system and exhaust gas purification module of the equipment. After the visit, they said that the process integrity of the pyrolysis link was the most
complete among all the manufacturers they had previously visited, and successfully introduced the system to support their battery research and treatment projects.
